Pirate Troll from The 47 Ronin Movie

To all those who already watched the movie entitled 'The 47 Ronin' then there was the scene inside the pirate's boat wherein Kai was fighting for his life against a bandit-fighter. After defeating his current foe, the next fighter wasn't human but a giant troll which is according to most sources. The creature displayed brute strength trying to smash Kai but with his agile skill of fighting, he was able to evade its attack and was able to defeat the monster. Kai had actually beheaded the giant troll with his samurai sword and it died. The only thing that bothered me was that the giant troll's corpse didn't turn into stone. Can Humans communicate or Interact with the Giant Trolls?

It would be really nice and amazing if we humans can communicate with the giant trolls . There would be huge benefits for both of us particularly in sharing knowledge with one another. Since these creatures could actually live for up to 5000 years of age , they could reveal to us more information about the ancient world. Unfortunately, real trolls aren’t what we expect to be. They are far different from what has been described on the old mythological books . These giant creatures being sighted by a few individuals proves that they are similar to wild animals particularly beasts. Maybe, we can communicate with them if they can only be tamed. But for what purpose? Tame them to become your pets? They actually don’t show any signs of intelligence but an animalistic nature. Anyway, there is still the possibility that there are other more civilized species of trolls out there who cleverly kept themselves concealed not to be seen by any of us.

The Humongous Dovregubben

Perhaps, the largest kind of giant troll creatures are the humongous “Dovregubben” . Due to their enormous sizes, they often cause damages to large structures especially the electrical fences that prevents them from entering the residential areas. Dovregubben inhabits the mountainous regions, thus they are classified as “Mountain Trolls” . In the Troll Hunter movie , this gigantic monster was the last troll creature encountered by the group of amateur film-makers. They get to see Hans took it down in action with his special and powerful beam of light . Despite of its size, these monsters can be quite hard to notice. You will only be able to know its presence by the large stomping of their feet that shakes the ground.
