Pirate Troll from The 47 Ronin Movie

To all those who already watched the movie entitled 'The 47 Ronin' then there was the scene inside the pirate's boat wherein Kai was fighting for his life against a bandit-fighter. After defeating his current foe, the next fighter wasn't human but a giant troll which is according to most sources. The creature displayed brute strength trying to smash Kai but with his agile skill of fighting, he was able to evade its attack and was able to defeat the monster. Kai had actually beheaded the giant troll with his samurai sword and it died. The only thing that bothered me was that the giant troll's corpse didn't turn into stone. This part confuses me if the creature was a troll or not. A troll once it died should immediately turn into stone just like what has been portrayed in the Troll Hunter movie . There's a difference between a giant troll and an Orc . Giant trolls are completely dumb when it comes to physical combat. Their way of fighting solely d...

Can Humans communicate or Interact with the Giant Trolls?

It would be really nice and amazing if we humans can communicate with the giant trolls . There would be huge benefits for both of us particularly in sharing knowledge with one another. Since these creatures could actually live for up to 5000 years of age , they could reveal to us more information about the ancient world. Unfortunately, real trolls aren’t what we expect to be. They are far different from what has been described on the old mythological books . These giant creatures being sighted by a few individuals proves that they are similar to wild animals particularly beasts. Maybe, we can communicate with them if they can only be tamed. But for what purpose? Tame them to become your pets? They actually don’t show any signs of intelligence but an animalistic nature. Anyway, there is still the possibility that there are other more civilized species of trolls out there who cleverly kept themselves concealed not to be seen by any of us.

The Humongous Dovregubben

Perhaps, the largest kind of giant troll creatures are the humongous “Dovregubben” . Due to their enormous sizes, they often cause damages to large structures especially the electrical fences that prevents them from entering the residential areas. Dovregubben inhabits the mountainous regions, thus they are classified as “Mountain Trolls” . In the Troll Hunter movie , this gigantic monster was the last troll creature encountered by the group of amateur film-makers. They get to see Hans took it down in action with his special and powerful beam of light . Despite of its size, these monsters can be quite hard to notice. You will only be able to know its presence by the large stomping of their feet that shakes the ground.

Troll Under the Alder Bay Bridge

According to the source, a small troll had suddenly chosen to take shelter under the Alder Bay Bridge . It was already been there for several months that several residents claims of regular sightings that keeps on occurring at Granville Island . This was a female troll who keeps on grunting, snorting and snoring under the bridge. But what makes it quite interesting was that, the creature was not allowing some villagers to cross the bridge. What do you think about this kind of troll ? It seems that it is a territorial one by establishing its own territory on the bridge. Slaying Giant Trolls with Powerful Beam of Light

Giant trolls can be unstoppable where common modern human weapons does not have much any effect on them. So if they really wanted to, they can invade the human lands and wreck havoc to their paths. Fortunately, they can't. Why? It is because they are afraid of the day light. Being afraid of the daylight is what made these Norwegian giant creatures conceal themselves deep in the thick forest regions. While others do live in the mountains covered by thick mist of clouds. In case you do not know it yet, all trolls of any kind are like vampires. Being exposed under sunlight can immediately cause them instant death. What's going to happen to them is that they will turn into stones . It is somewhat similar to Medusa's curse when you stare to her eyes. How about the moonlight? What if it is full moon? Do they still come out from their hiding places? Yes, night will always be their own rightful time to come out and explore the world around them. The light being...

Why are Giant Trolls So Dumb?

What exactly is the reason why giant trolls are so dumb? Unfortunately, no one can really provide an answer to this question with some solid proof or evidence. Majority of the theories actually claims that it is their nature. Or, they are born that way. Written on the old scriptures particularly the folklore , these creatures were still described as dumb but some of them were able to communicate with humans. Being able to interact with us in the past is actually a good sign of intellect. They just happen to fail in many logical aspects of correct thinking. But this is what really matters the most, real Norwegian giant trolls that are being encountered today are unlike those portrayed from the folklore. So when you unexpectedly came across one of them on a certain remote place, do not expect that you can talk your way out of it but immediately, you need to run. Giant trolls are always expected to attack humans without any hesitation especially when you are inside their...

With a swirl to his hammer and thrown it against the giant troll, the impact was so powerful that the creature was smashed into pieces of broken rocks.
